In an interview this week, Taylor Momsen told Entertainment Weekly that the cast of Gossip Girl are all “all cordial and nice,” but “we’re not really friends outside of the set.” Somebody obviously doesn’t read the gossip columns: Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford are so tight it’s practically Brokeback,; Leighton Meester dated costar Sebastian Stan; Westwick just broke up with Jessica Szohr; Blake Lively is still dating Penn Badgley. So basically, Monson is the only cast member not spending her downtime locking lips and partying with her coworkers. Well, besides Dorota.

Daniel Radcliffe may be readying for his next Broadway role after the last Harry Potter films — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and II — wrap up production in June, but what have the movies’ other stars been up to?

Emma Watson, who just turned 20 this week and celebrated with a Moulin Rouge-themed party, is currently living in the U.S. and attending Brown University, where she recently starred in a production of the Chekhov play Three Sisters.

In between the Potter films, Rupert Grint has been busy filming Cherrybomb, a British coming of age film that required him to film a sex scene, which he called “nerve-wracking”. The racy film will open in the U.K. next week.

Tom Felton, who plays Harry Potter baddie Draco Malfoy, has been working his way through young Hollywood as well. One of his most recent projects is the upcoming film The Apparition with Gossip Girl’s Sebastian Stan and Ashley Greene from the Twilight saga — in a joining of film franchises of sorts.

Meanwhile, we continue to wait until Deathly Hallows hits theaters.

Leighton Meester splits with Sebastian Stan? And Ed with Jessica?

Dear Leighton,

Happy 24th Birthday! Although you are now rumored to be single, we think this is going to be a big day for you, and a big year. For example, your movie Date Night hits theaters today. With stars Tina Fey and Steve Carell leading the film, it’s sure to be a hit.

And now that your Gossip Girl co-stars Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick are also broken up (although a GG is denying those reports) you can hit the town with single Jessica or — and this is our favorite scenario — Chuck and Blair can finally be together, in real life. I know, I know, you probably love Ed like a brother. Well, if that’s the case, then take heart in the fact that now that Chuck and Blair are at odds in Gossip Girl land, you might finally get some juicy and devilish plot lines again. We’re very much missing Blair’s plotting ways.

So tonight, raise a glass for us. We’re expecting big things from you.

No really. I think Hot Tub Time Machine actually looks like it’s going to be pretty funny. So does Liz Lemon. And Martha Stewart. Here’s why:

First off, you have John Cusack, who is arguably much better in comedic roles than, say, an action disaster movie like 2012. Throw in more funny guys like Craig Robinson from The Office and former Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry, and you know you’re destined to see some funny happen. The fourth member of the hot tub clan is Clark Duke, who might know from ABC Family’s Greek, a very underrated and funny show. He’s young, but he can hold his own with John, Craig and Rob. Some other members of the cast I’m excited to see? Chevy Chase, Sebastian Stan and Crispin Glover.

Beyond the powerhouse cast, the plotline can’t be beat. A group of guys climb into a hot tub in 2010 and emerge in the 80’s? That includes two of my favorite wacky movies scenarios: time travel and the 80’s. Offer up some neon and spandex and a chance that one of the characters is going to run into his mom as a teenager — and you better believe I will be buying advance tickets.
